The Season in Soup takes place in Mrs Chapman's Boarding House, located in Spite. During Holiday events, the text is slightly different. The soup week number affects which soups are currently available. There are a total of 4 different weeks, and the week number cycles to the next week every Monday.

Depending on the week, there are 4 different soups/actions available each week. These give economical rewards based on your Base Persuasive. The rough value is equal between all the soups, but may differ slightly due to rounding. The following tables show exact numbers.

Having all of these qualities allow you to Explore the house, where you can gain Backstage at Mrs Chapman's at the cost of Whispers Behind Mrs Chapman's. Having 5 of this unlocks Acquaintance: Mrs Chapman, which allows you to collect a weekly reward of 3-5 x Secluded Address and increase your Acquaintance: Mrs Chapman quality up to 4.

Is it a good way to grind items?

For the most part, yes. Chapman's House rivals most endgame grinds for the same items and has the convenience of being instantly accessible in London and does not require you to invest resources into it like the The Rat Market.

However for players without the story progress or Watchful needed to participate in those aforementioned activities, this is better than just about anything else available to them.
Inkling of Identity	Earlygame	Only low-level players could possibly benefit from this, as all other players can get a better grind through upconverting Proscribed Material; Endgame players through digs in Moulin, and Midgame from using The Censored Census of 1862.
Romantic Notion	Yes	Rivals Khanate grinding and upconverting Prisoner's Honey.
