Most favours are sourced from drawing cards, so more favours come with more cards which yield favours. That's why the opportunity deck in Fallen London should be managed especially when you're engaging in favour-based courses like Favour-based Tribute. Attributes

Some cards with favours only appear when your attributes are in a specific range. So have a specific outfit when drawing. The recommended attributes when drawing are orderly Watchful 69-80 or 0-68 or >190, Persuasive 28-68 or 200-229, Shadowy 28-44 or >190, Dangerous >118.

It's always good to keep menaces low.
